This collection is entitled “The Dreaming” and tells the story of a fairy who dreams of immense terrestrial satisfaction. As she explores a magical forest draped in lush white fabric, she experiences turbulence while trying to understand the human experience. Her experience illustrates her internal struggles with the feeling of absence and depicts the emotional strains we feel as humans. She reminds us of the times when we are so overcome with emotion that we allow our vulnerable side to come out. Once we recompose ourselves, we are stronger than before; we are one step closer to preventing life’s emotional struggles from overwhelming us. Her purpose later becomes clear as she sets out to guide each being to a place of empowerment and freedom.

In this collection, I explore the multifaceted realm where masculine design encounters feminine touch. These 14 looks range from a variety of androgynous button-up shirts, elevated basics and outerwear, offering an honest and freeing expression for all people to feel brave within.
This collection is inspired by Aubrey Beardsley's imagery. Beardsley uses drape details and magical characters in his sketches. His imagery has a literal and metaphorical presence in this collection.
I drew inspiration from many of my favorite artists to create the musical soundtrack. Credits include work from Richard Wagner's "Tristan & Isolde", ARCA, Bjork, FKA Twigs, Kate Bush & Sophie.
